Projectdetails

Introduction

Methinks aims at revolutionising stroke diagnosis by empowering any hospital in the world to evaluate at any time all treatment options. Today, this is only possible using advanced medical imaging, which is available in around 50% of the hospitals.

Technology Overview

Methinks will do it with standard medical imaging, which is available 24/7 in any hospital, including rural areas and less developed countries. This approach leads to a reduction of time-to-treatment of up to 60 minutes.

Importance of Timely Treatment

In stroke cases, time is brain; every minute counts and means that the patient can talk, walk, have cognitive capabilities, and live.

Market Opportunity

This innovation will also open a huge market opportunity, since our technology can run in all small, mid, and major hospitals around the world.

Challenges and Support

Bypassing advanced medical imaging is a paradigm shift that requires a large and expensive clinical trial. That is why we are considered a high-risk company by VCs, needing the support of the EIC Accelerator.

Conclusion

With the EIC support, we have the team to make that shift real.
