Introduction

The general objective of the Technical Assistance (TA) for SLO SNAP project is to prepare the Slovenian Strategic Nature Project (SNAP). Led by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning (MNVP), collaborative efforts will mobilize the expertise of Slovenian Parks and stakeholders.

Project Focus

The project's crucial focus is on bridging policy and practical implementation, ensuring effective conservation measures for Natura 2000 areas. Irena Likar (IL), an experienced manager of LIFE projects, will oversee operations, including:

  1. Concept Note and SNAP preparation
  2. Regular reporting
  3. Inclusive work plans
  4. Collaboration with a Project Steering Committee
  5. Mainstreaming for success
