The ZWE's biannual work programme is structured into eight distinct Work Packages (WPs), each targeting key organisational and environmental priorities.
Work Package Details

- WP2 and WP3: Integrate strategic material use and health considerations across all work packages, ensuring policies are safe and sustainable.
- WP4: Addresses packaging recycling.

- WP6: Focuses on bio-waste management through composting and biogas generation.
- WP7: Targets textile waste through the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility.
- WP8: Aims to reduce mixed waste and enhance its sorting to promote recycling over incineration and landfilling.
