Introduction
This is an annual workplan within the 3-year programme that contributes to the four LIFE objectives. FoEE’s 2024 workplan implements actions that contribute towards systemic change with the European Green Deal (EGD), based on our goal for transformation, with a focus on EGD improvement, buy-in & implementation to support a fair environmental transition that benefits all European citizens.
Work Packages
The work packages are the same as in the 3-year work programme and cover these thematic areas:
- Climate Justice (WP2)
- Energy (WP3)
- Biodiversity (WP4)
- Food & Agriculture (WP5)
- Resource Justice (WP6)
- Trade, Investment & Corporate Accountability (WP7)
Policy Priorities
Policy priorities within these work packages depend on the sectoral policy cycle development within the EGD and European Commission (EC) 2024 workplan.
Additional Work Packages
A further two work packages are dedicated to:
- Horizontal & Emerging issues & EGD Implementation (WP8)
- Towards a Sustainable Economy (WP9)
Organisational Development
There is also a work package on organisational development that includes capacity building, communication, and operational issues, such as finance management (WP1).
